Signs Your Roof Needs Replacing
The warning signs that suggest a repair may no longer be the right answer.

Most roofs give some warning before they fail outright. Knowing what to look for can help you decide whether a repair is still sensible, or whether it's time to plan for a replacement.
Widespread tile damage — rather than one or two isolated tiles — is one of the clearer signs that the roof covering as a whole is reaching the end of its useful life.
Repeated repairs to different parts of the same roof within a short period often indicate that the underlying materials are failing generally, rather than one localised issue.
Sagging areas of roofline can point to structural or timber problems beneath the covering, which is a more significant issue than the tiles themselves.
Daylight visible through the roof from inside the loft, or persistent damp despite previous repairs, are both signs worth having properly assessed.
